5/2022 - 5/2023

Oracle

Role: Global Communications Lead

* Co-Marketing, Product Marketing, and Brand Storytelling: Supported the GTM teams with new course and program launches such as Business Process Training and Oracle Guided Learning initiatives, including the Oracle University Podcast, Oracle University Learning Community, and wrote launch communications plans for the new software certifications and exams on topics such as Cloud Computing, Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle software solutions.

* Message Development and Stakeholder Engagement: Rebuilt and designed a new Oracle University internal website for the Customer Success Services organization.

* Stakeholder Engagement and Change Communications: Key integrator between Oracle University and Customer Success Services to support and streamline all content development.

* Communications Program and Message Development: Wrote content for Slack, newsletters, internal executive emails, and partner marketing communications.

* Collaboration Solutions: Continually networked internally to find more communication opportunities to extend our reach for disseminating all Oracle University updates and sales support programs, processes, and educational resources to build performance.

* Product Marketing and Enablement: Managed newsletter content, Slack, internal email, webinar promotions, external website updates, and internal website build and design.

* Partner Engagement and Partner Programs: Collaborated with senior executives and corporate partners on communications content and distribution.

Veritone, Inc. - Enterprise Artificial Intelligence, Synthetic Voice, Generative AI, Biometric, Text, Data
Role: Sr. Director of Public Relations

* Directed all public relations strategy and media communications for each of Veritone's key

business units (GLC, Energy, M&E, aiWARE, PandoLogic), including all product launches.

* Oversaw thought leadership planning, contributed content, bylines, executive interview prep/talking points, and executive internal/external communications, increasing media coverage for Veritone’s aiWARE platform - Enterprise AI, by 132% from the previous year.

* Developed, drafted, and edited press release content and managed executive approvals.

* Owned and managed external agency relationships and budgets. Provided PR guidance for coverage reporting, embargoed pitching, award planning, budgeting, executive branding, and product launch strategy.

* Managed analyst relations briefing calendars, analyst communications, and planning. 

* Supported all communications for Veritone's investor relations group and internal communications regarding financial announcements, acquisitions/partner communications, and corporate repositioning.

 * Collaborated with all internal stakeholders, including the executive team, social media, web team, investor relations, technology analyst relations (Gartner, Forrester, IDC), subject matter experts, product managers, and sales teams.

Role: Global Public Relations and Product Communications Manager

Interim Sr. Director, Corporate PR & Executive Comms for 10 months

* Drove Seagate's product and technology communications effort to expand the broader corporate initiatives for global public relations and influencer engagements for Seagate's gaming, client and consumer (including LaCie), NAS, enterprise, and video analytics/surveillance segments.

* Managed public relations strategy for product launches, events, podcasts, and media outreach for Lyve portfolio, HDD, SSD, HAMR, MACH.2, and enterprise products such as Lyve Cloud, Lyve Mobile, SkyHawk video imaging, mass capacity storage for hyper-scale applications, enterprise software, cloud computing, and CORTX open-source object storage.

* Developed the Seagate narrative to a social /digital/informed storytelling model using analysis of business trends, technology advances, and data around object storage, artificial intelligence, cloud computing software, and machine learning.

* Increased media coverage from 8,0006 pieces to 10,788 from FY19 to FY20. Increased product reviews from 707 to 944 from FY19 to FY20.

* Collaborated with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, marketing, internal comms, sales, social, industry partners, and external agencies, to enhance the corporate message and align internal and external communications.

* Counseled and influenced C-suite executives and communicated to a large employee population of technologists and engineers.

* Collaborated with global teams in China, EMEA, and JAPC for product launches, corporate communications, and product reviews.

* Worked alongside analysts, tech influencers, and tier-1 media and maintained key relationships with popular consumer and trade media.

InTouch Health (TeleDoc) - High-Tech Robotics for Healthcare/Hospitals, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, SaaS
Role: Senior Manager of Public Relations

* Directed PR campaigns, internal communications, digital marketing campaigns, and social media strategies.

* Provided in-house customer consulting services (i.e., Mayo Clinic, Dignity Health) on marketing, PR, program roll-out, and team buy-in strategies, leading to a new program that increased demand generation metrics, customer satisfaction, and our net promoter score.

* Grew LinkedIn by 133%, YouTube from 1,500 views to 36,000 in 1.5 years, and Twitter followers from 300 to 9,000 followers. Facebook acquired 1,060 followers, extending our influence as thought leaders and industry experts. Launched a webinar series that resulted in 30 contracts signed - totaling 5M in revenue.

* Initiated, redesigned, and implemented email marketing campaigns - increasing open rates by 3.8 and increasing web conversions from 9,051 (2014) to 34,585 (2015).

* Co-developed and led digital marketing and demand generation campaigns (Salesforce, Constant Contact, Marketo), social media strategy, customer newsletters, email marketing, conversion rate optimization, and new customer initiatives.

* Produced/wrote videos, including device demos, customer testimonial series, and device/network power-game videos for sales and demand generation content.

* Collaborated with executives and CEO on a complete rebrand of the company and developed a new marketing platform, logo, website, value proposition, and sales proposal - expanding the telemedicine network by 20% in 2015.

* Worked closely with senior executives and partners for press release preparation, finance/growth announcements, and press interviews (television, newspaper, online, and video).
